Institutional Design | Art & Architecture North Addition
In this academic project, our new addition to Art & Architecture North focuses on the importance of collaborative interdisciplinary learning for the college of Art and Architecture. This space allows for flexibility and integration with an accessible and modular floor plan and open spaces that still allow for private, intimate spaces as well. This addition will establish an image and brand for the college while connecting with Art & Architecture North. The traditional materials used in this space integrate the existing building and addition seamlessly, yet modern and clean. Dark, warm colors, juxtaposed with colorful accents make the space feel lively and comfortable instead of cold.
